Think about it

Post-revolutionnary societies. After the coup-d'état, past the uprising... What are we looking at?

I'm going to be examining this question very closely in my book. A sort of reactionnary utopian fiction, in response to dystopian reality.

The very nature of the problem lies in the fact than any one person's idea, however ethical it may be, is still just that... one person's idea. If we force it on the others, we're dealing with a new kind of opression.

Now I've been giving this a lot of thought, and I think we can find a way around those minute details. I'm almost ready to present my idea of a government, or a system. I'll explain it all in my book, but generally speaking, we're talking about soluble and free associating legislative bodies, voting on issues as opposed to people, and including "none of the above" as a slot on the ballot.

Those are only the shadows of possibilities. My point is that it's clear that revolutions are in order around the globe, but I believe that we need to think about those societies that have been overthrown, and weave them into an international web of ethical politics.

These blogs will serve 1) as a tool in researching what the people's opininons are on how the system is weak and how it could be improved and 2) as a prime example of technology used as an implement of political freedom and global unity.
I'm mainly interested in hearing different opinions and ideas on what you think needs to change, and what kind of improvements you'd like to see. The more specific the problem the better. What I mean by that is I want to know about the actual people around you, their real problems, the situations that are unethical and unjust that all of us face every day. I want to know what is going on the world over, because we all know the media is the message, and I'm not finding this out on CNN.
I'll be posting in the comments for a while, that's where I'll expand on the idea, till I get some responses to this. In the meantime I'll be adding some interesting links and trying to round up some lucid minds.
